The Verna & Don Wilson Family Site

E-mail Print PDF

You have reached the site of the Wilsons, Don, Verna and family. This site was established by our youngest, Paul, who was moving his family to the U.S. and he felt a website would allow us to remain connected. He hosted the site for some time until it was moved to the Manse. Over the years, our late son Ian had toiled quietly in the background, helping to keep the Webmaster honest and the site safe and operational. Following his return to Ottawa several years ago, our son Jeff became the "backroom support person" and we now have an updated site for our family news and for access to our ever-growing photo Gallery.

As before, this site will be updated on a random basis but it will be wise to drop by occasionally to see if there is anything new. It will soon be time for offspring to get more involved in content and that exercise will be quite interesting when one considers the different experiences that could be brought into the development of content for this site. Leading the efforts to increase family recorded history has been Ted Wilson, uncle to Don & Ken and great, great uncle to Tamsin and her 4 siblings plus Georgie and her brother - with some very interesting stories to tell. It is hoped that he will inspire others to take the time to record their recollections and, if they are willing, they can be posted to this site. It also might be a good idea for the Webmaster to add some biographical content.

Visitors will have noticed that the Family pages and the Gallery are not part of the menu when the site is first opened. We decided it would be prudent to restrict access to some of the website features and thus it will now be necessary to log in for access to those two menu items. Access information has been provided to everyone, but if anyone is having difficulty accessing those features, just send an email to the This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Comments: Inputs will always be welcome; there is ample opportunity to allow the site to expand in a variety of ways. The best way to make inputs is to send an email to the This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
